The mission of the Humboldt Community Business Development Center (HCBDC) is to increase prosperity in Humboldt County by supporting the development of Humboldt County alternative agriculture businesses and communities through research, and community development.
Professional Development, Education & Workforce Training
Free to low cost professional development workshops to support independent alternative agriculture business development. This program is funded by the Humboldt County Headwaters Fund. The Curriculum Council includes Michael Kraft (Papa & Barkley), Kathy Moxon (Redwood Coast Rural Action), Courtney Augustus (Big Sur Extracts), Jaymi Dark (Dark Staffing Solutions) and Leila Roberts.
Support to the alternative agriculture industry for the development of brand strategies, websites, social media and marketing plans with the goal of increasing prosperity across Humboldt County.
